How was Lumä born?

Lumä - pronounced Louma - is the fruit of its creator's passion for sewing and her encounter with honeycomb fabric, a material that would become her source of inspiration.

Marie-Louise ( Malou for short) inherited her passion for sewing from her mother who taught her to sew when she was little and gave her her first sewing machine. After a career in human resources during which she practiced sewing as a hobby, Malou decided to devote herself to it entirely in 2021 when she discovered honeycomb fabric and her creations were a great success with those around her.

She realizes that this fabric and all the benefits it presents are very little known to the general public. Aware of this, she decides to create a brand based on this material in order to make it known to as many people as possible.

She then embarked on the Lumä adventure accompanied by her daughter and supported by her mother: her two biggest fans!
